Testimonials for Villa Margherita - Upper Carolina

THANK YOU for rescuing us recently!  It was such a miracle that you happened to have an opening of 6 days at Villa Margherita.  We loved the place, it was perfect for us.  Clean, bright, airy, and lovely.  It was spacious, and comfortable for the 3 of us, and so wonderful to have amenities like bathrobes, plenty of towels, washer and dryer, and a vacuum, so I could clean out the car at the end.

We are all gardening fanatics, and we so appreciated the lovely landscaping.  We also appreciated having a cat.... we each have at least 2 cats at home, so it was nice to read in the owner's notes that guests were encouraged to "feed the cat"... a really sweet touch.

Everything worked, from the WiFi to the hot tub, and anything we might have needed seemed to have been thought of, so we wanted for nothing.  I must say, the kitchen is better stocked with nice pots and pans than my own kitchen at home! The steep driveway was a bit challenging after a rain, but we learned to navigate that.

The views were spectacular, the peace and quiet were what we had hoped for, and the location in Coral Bay was perfect.  We LOVE Coral Bay, and want to return.  We have become strong advocates for saving the bay. Thank you for your help in finding us a lovely place to stay at the last minute; had it not been for your assistance, I am not sure what we would have done.  Everything I looked at was full, and you truly did rescue us at the last minute.

We would love to come back, and we are interested in staying at one of your properties again.  We absolutely love Coral Bay, and all that it has to offer: peace, quiet, beautiful beaches, lovely landscapes, nature, nice little funky restaurants, and kind and warm people.  Thank you for the 5% off repeat guest offer!!!

I just wanted to take a moment to thank you for an amazing week at Villa Margherita.  It was our second time on St. John (last year we were at the Westin).  We fell in love with the quieter pace and mellower vibe of Coral Bay and the East End.  The house was perfect for our needs... we were actually dismayed that we had the second bedroom empty... what a wasted commodity!  The location of Upper Carolina is so ideal... away from it all, yet remarkably close to everything.  Backgammon & coffee on the deck at sunrise was just what we needed to get us through the rest of the Northeast winter.  We certainly will refer people to Windspree and to your villa in particular if it meets their needs.  Thanks also to the folks at Windspree for making this all so easy. Hope to see you again next year!

It was literally painful to leave at the end of our week-long stay.  This was our 2nd time in St. John.  Our first trip was to the Westin.  That was fine, but we realized that with 2 children, it made more sense to be in a house.  We also realized that we love to explore the unparalleled beaches of St. John, and the Westin's location isn't ideal for that.  We found Villa Margherita and it looked like it was in a good location.  After spending our time there, I modify that to say that it's a PERFECT location.  It is about a 6-7 minute drive down to Coral Bay which has several good restaurants, a few shops, and a couple of markets (in other words, everything you need).  We went to Crabby's on our first day to rent snorkel gear for the week too.  And then if you go the other direction, you're just a 7-15 minute drive to all of the north shore beaches.  And the access to get to this villa is pretty mellow... I've read and heard that many villas are up treacherous roads and/or driveways.  This one really isn't by St. John standards.  The house itself was very comfortable and well laid out.  The second bedroom/full bath are in a separate guest building accessed across the patio, so depending on your family or group, that may or may not be ideal.  We didn't use that room, as we wanted our daughters (5 and 8) in the same house as us.  For teenagers or another couple, this lay out would be outstanding. The upstairs was awesome... we watched movies every night from the Blockbuster-sized dvd collection.  Sunrise breakfasts at the bar or on the patio overlooking Tortola .  The laundry machine was terrific. There's just nothing negative to say. The house was well-kept and clean too.  If you haven't been to St. John, I highly recommend it.  This is an island that is very easy to navigate, very safe, very clean, etc.  The more populous side (that's relative) is around Cruz Bay.  This home is close to Coral Bay, a sleepier town that feels kind of like a surfer town or something.  Just more casual and low key than the comparatively busy Cruz Bay. There are a few cool places outside of Coral Bay too (Ms. Lucy's, Vie's), and these are a long trip from Cruz Bay (maybe 45-50 min depending). Cruz Bay is just about 20-25 minutes away, so you can go there for dinner once or twice, or you can hit a north shore beach in the morning, do lunch in Cruz Bay, then hit a different beach on the way home.  This house is literally central to everywhere on the island.  St. John is the best!

The house was actually larger than we expected and the separate bedroom suite provided our son and his girlfriend both privacy and proximity to the main house.  It also helped set the stage for his wedding proposal and her acceptance.  Who knows, we may be enjoying a destination wedding back on St. John and Villa Margherita will be our first choice of places to stay!

Windspree Guests , 12/2015

We were surprised by the beautiful plantings outside with blooming plumeria, hibiscus and bougainvillea.  Inside color choices and rattan/bamboo furnishings helped to complete that tropical island feel.  In such a desirable setting we were also surprised by the privacy and total absence of neighboring homes from view and the house is high enough on the mountain to enjoy constant breezes, which eliminated bugs and the need for air conditioning.

Windspree Guests , 11/2015

Villa Margherita was everything the VRBO description said and more.  The view of the Caribbean and mountains provided the perfect backdrop to quiet meals on the deck and we found ourselves eating in most of the time to enjoy "the best seat in the house."  We managed to use up the LP tank attached to the Weber grill and hooked up the full back up tank thoughtfully left by your management company, Windspree.  After dinner entertainment went no further than the incredible collection of CDs, DVDs, and Video Cassettes.  The audio/video system gave us a theater-like experience every night.

If you are looking for a place to chill in St. John check out this property. My family of four have stayed here not once, but five times now! It is a perfect house that works for either a family of four or for two couples. Since we like to cook it's a must to have an outdoor grill and a well-equipped kitchen. The Villa has both. It also has a nice coffee pot with filters. The home is very comfortable and has great views of the mountains of St. John as well as the BVI's across the Sir Francis Drake Channel. Cool off at the end of the day with AC located in the bedrooms and upstairs living area. We generally ate all of our meals on the outdoor patio overlooking the views and the hot tub below. Foliage on this property is also very nice! In addition, this home is very affordable which is not always the case on St. John. Coral Bay restaurants are a six minute drive and closest beach (Maho) is seven minutes. I would highly recommend this villa over some of the other properties we have stayed at over the years.

Hello from Palm Beach!  I had no glitches returning home.  I really appreciated the help with the alarm.  It went off at 4:00 a.m.  I arrived home in Palm Beach around 7:30 p.m.  I believe that I saw most of the fish "under the sea!"  Turtles, deer, mongoose, Mose's pigs, goats, donkeys and the wake up calls of the rooster.I was also happy to be able to drive up to Ray's Treehouse.  And I  enjoyed meeting with "old friends" like Dee & Tom Conrad and their daughters, along with many friends at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, and all of you at Windspree.  God bless all of you at WINDSPREE, AND THANK YOU "over, above and beyond."

Peg , FLA , 07/2014

This was our first time to St.John.This house is beautiful and has everything you could possibly need while on vacation. It was raining the first couple of days. We walked the Reef Trail which I would say was quite rough for a 60 year old out of shape lady! We walked all the way down and up. We enjoyed Salt Pond Beach the most.

We are taking a 5 stop 4 Island tour of the BVI on Thursday.

We both feel at home at Villa Margherite and look forward in relaxing in the evening after a busy day. We love the views, the flowers and all the summer night noises.

Thank you for sharing your lovely home.

What a wonderful 10 day retreat from reality! This is our 7th trip to St.John in 10 years( we think) and our favorite villa. You have thought of everything! The movie collection (and WIFI) was loved by the kids, The well stocked kitchen and robes by the adults. We hit all our fav beaches ( Lamshur,Salt Pond, Maho, Oppenheimer ect.) We had a great time with Hidden Reef Eco Tours,Skinny Legs,Miss Lucy's did not disappoint. Don't miss Uncle Joe's BBQ if you get into Cruz Bay. We got Take out and enjoyed it here, REALLY GOOD. We will be back!

Connie,Colman,Liam,Maeve , Wayne,PA , 04/2014

This is our 7th(I think?) trip to St. John and this is by far our favorite Villa.  It was spacious, thoughtfully equipped, comfortable.  Everything about this place made our vacation easy.  We loved sitting on the porch day and night enjoying the view and the wildlife.  The villa felt so private, we were really able to get away from people and noise (except for the donkeys, who really need to sleep a little later!).  The kids loved the wifi and movie collections.  We visited all our favorite beaches and spent some quality time at Skinny Legs.  Hard to come back to reality, and we are already talking about a return trip to Villa Marg.

 Thanks for everything,

Connie, Colman Liam and Maeve , 04/2014

We had such a great time! This is the first time we have been back to St.John as a family in almost 15 years Our daughters thought this trip was so much better then the first, and that the visit was wonderful! Your home is perfect for any family who enjoy cooking and just hanging out together. Hope to be back soon.

We stayed at Larry and Marguerite’s beautiful house from February 16-24, 2014 and it was totally wonderful. The house is very modern, clean, and well-maintained, with every amenity you could ask for, from great linens and towels to beach towels and chairs, well-equipped kitchen, TV/entertainment system, wi-fi, washer and dryer, Weber grill, double sink bathroom, hundreds of DVDs and guidebooks, etc. It has beautiful landscaping, and the yellow bananaquit birds who sit on the bougainvillea and visit the patio are a delight to watch. The view from the covered patio out to Sir Francis Drake channel is ever-changing with sea and sky, and the rear view to Bordeaux Mountain is great too. Sitting in the hot tub in the sun or with the rising moon was a treat. We love this quieter Coral Bay side of St. John with its close proximity to the best beaches (ten to fifteen minutes) and some excellent restaurants. We had total privacy and quiet, if you don’t count the occasional braying of the local donkeys. We only used the main bedroom, but can see that two couples would have perfect privacy here with the completely separate second bedroom suite. On this island of jeeps and steep roads, the roads that approach to the house are moderate, with only a short stretch of steep but well-paved driveway. What the photos don’t show is how spacious the house feels with its high ceilings and many windows. Its setting also provides wonderful cooling breezes and we never needed the air conditioning. We also appreciated the many thoughtful energy-saving “green” features of the house. l

Thank you so much for the use of your beautiful home.  Our family of five had planty of space and very much enjoyed your St. John resource books.

We hit several of the beaches: Leinster & Waterlemon for snorkeling, Trunk Bay and Lameshur Bay.  The Reef Bay Trail was memorable to say the least - definitely worth a day.  As the kids pointed out, we did not have a single bad meal on the island.  The Tourist Trap - awesome - and thanks for the tip of driving to Concordia for the view.  The Oasis - hats off to you, keep up the good work.  Vie's - we will be talking about your Johnny Cake forever.

Our 1st visit to the USVI, unforgettable!

The Baldwins , IL , 06/2013

We had a wonderful stay at the Villa Margherita!  We came for the Beach to Beach Power Swim and are already planning next year's trip.  Thanks for having such a lovely house with everything we could possibly need.  This has been a delight.

Kelly, Jason, Rebecca, Jed & Marissa , RI & WA , 06/2013

We just got home from our week-long stay at Villa Margherita and I wanted to post a review right away.  The Villa was a perfect place for 5 adults to use as a home base for our days of snorkeling and swimming. We love the Coral Bay side, since it's a little quieter, and Villa Margherita is located perfectly to access the beautiful beaches, the East End, and Salt Pond, and is just a quick drive to Cruz Bay for supplies.  And if we forgot anything at home, we could easily just pop up the hill and get what we needed.

The Villa is so comfortable and perfect for a small or medium-sized party.  We had 5 adults (2 couples and 1 single) and were comfortable in the two master suites and the sleeping area in the den. The fully-stocked kitchen and grill allowed us to cook some fantastic meals.  We spent our mornings and evenings on the upstairs porch overlooking the beautiful  view of the channel, or in the living/dining room, with all of the windows open, enjoying the island breezes.  Some of us rounded out our full days with a nice soak in the hot tub.

The Villa was fully stocked with linens, beach towels and even beach chairs, which we happily threw in the back of the Jeep and used at the beach.  Plus, it was so handy to have a washer and dryer to do a quick load of laundry when needed.

We also enjoyed the lush gardens and identifying the beautiful tropical flowers.  If we had any questions about St. John, we could easily answer them with one of the many guidebooks available at the Villa.  The Villa really had everything we could need!

We had a fabulous stay at Villa Margherita and look forward to coming back!

K. McGee , Rhode Island , 05/2013

Thank you for allowing us to experience your little slice of heaven with my husband and myself. This was our 5th time vacationing on St. John. We celebrated our 20 year wedding anniversary.

Your villa was beyond fantastic! The decor, the cleanliness, the organized book you designed for your guests, the privacy your home offers, the landscape, the view looking over towards Tortola and the technology that you have is five stars. (Husband loved the WiFi you provided)

Thank you so much Larry and Marguerite. A week that we won't ever forget. When we return next year, we will just have to "rebook" your villa, if available. Just outstanding!!!

P.S. Did I mention that we wore the beautiful, soft white robes that you provided (with your Villa logo) each and every night? What a nice, personal added touch!

Kagen , Essex, VT , 04/2013

My husband and I had such a fabulous vacation at Villa M in November, 2012, that we are already reserving a week for November, 2013. The villa was exactly as advertised, squeaky clean, and the service from Windspree was excellent. We highly recommend Marguerite and Larry's special home for your next St. John adventure. It has a great location, convenient to everything in Coral Bay, but there is privacy also. Decks and views are great, kitchen is well equipped, living spaces are comfortable. The owners' love of their special home and of St. John is obvious!

Kathy H. , VT , 11/2012

The villa was perfect in every way.  Comfortable, well-supplied, and convenient to both Coral Bay and the North Shore beaches.  Captain Phil (Wayward Sailor) is an excellent snorkelling guide!  Miss Lucy’s restaurant was great.  Hope we will be back to vacation on St. John soon!

Nancy and Jon , 07/2011

Our 6th time to St. John and loved it as usual!  Beautiful weather and lots of nice people.  Enjoyed putting sugar and water out for the bananaquits and watching the hummingbirds.  Loved the views! Thanks!

Ursula and Tom , 03/2011

Thank you for sharing your beautiful dream villa with us. We so enjoyed the spacious and meticulously designed property. The villa's “Feng Shui” is outstanding. So quiet and peaceful.  We were able to enjoy most of the beaches here, come back to relax in the hot tub, enjoy music (so much to pick from) and all the amenities you have in the home. Love all the décor and color.  Thank you so much.

The Johnson Family , 12/2010

This is our second visit to St. John and our first to your wonderful home. We attended a wedding at Caneel Bay and found Villa Margherita to be a great way to experience the whole island. When we hosted one other couple for dinner and an evening, they paid you the ultimate compliment by saying that they (staying at Caneel Bay) were the ones who were roughing it! The gardens, well equipped kitchen, electronics and thorough documentation made our vacation truly memorable. Thanks so much!

Kevin & Barbara , 06/2010

I guess what would be one of the best compliments these days is that the Villa is more beautiful than it looked on the Internet, where it looked spectacular.  It is an Eden with such pretty landscaping and decor.  The roominess is wonderful.

Buffy & Don , 05/2010

A million dollar view!  We really appreciated the paved road access and water filtration system and have to agree with all the comments that you have a wonderfully equipped and comfortable house.  Loved the collection of books on St. John, native fish and plants, and your gardens look fantastic.

Mark, Sherie, Susan & Keith , 05/2010

Your villa is as perfect as man-made can be, pleasurable for all of our senses, tranquil and beautiful inside and out.  We appreciate your thoughtfulness in providing your guests with everything to insure their comfort.  Top of our list of pleasures is the peaceful quiet, interrupted only by the chirping of thrushes and frogs, and the rustling of breezes through the leaves.  We also enjoyed the host of colorful blooms, the spectacular vistas and the eco-friendliness of the villa.  We have only two wishes right now as we prepare to depart: that St. John remains as tranquil and beautiful as it is now and that we have the good fortune to return! P.S.  Love the wireless Internet and great movie collection!

Elaine & Jim , 04/2010
We are back to a 2nd visit to Villa M! Even more lovely and comfortable than we remember. You’ve thought of everything a guest could want or need. Loved bird watching form the patio and starry nights in the spa. Our favorite beaches were Salt Pond, Maho and Trunk, but all are beautiful on St. John. Lunches at Aqua Bistro, Vie’s,and Skinny’s; dinners at Morgan’s Mango, Lime Inn and Brunch at Miss Lucy’s are all great. Such a perfect vacation!
Mary and Martin , 07/2009
What a wonderful villa! You have thought of everything to make it feel like home. The villa is perfect with lovely views and pretty gardens. Who could ask for more? This is a perfect base to explore the wonderful island and meet the friendly people of St. John. Thank you for letting us use your beautiful home.
Diane, Alex, Susan and Derek , 05/2009
We wanted to enjoy a special place for our 30th anniversary and this wonderful villa on this beautiful island far exceeded our expectations. Thanks to the owners for having the vision to create this glorious place. Thanks also to the management for having it ready and making us feel welcome. We hope to return and will certainly plan on staying at Villa Margherita again.
Steve, Rochele, Rhianna and Alex , 05/2009
We are hooked. St John is our favorite place in the world. The snorkeling was awesome at Salt Pond and Francis Bay. If you look at Debbie’s facebook page you can view great videos of turtles and sharks. The villa is great and is perfectly located on the island. We plan to return.
Ron and Debbie , 04/2009
Beautiful house- we loved the views and the breezes-and the bananaquits!
Thanks,
Jerry and Nan , 03/2009
Thanks for a week in paradise. Loved the house, beaches and lovely mountain breezes. Be sure to check out Vie’s place in Hanson Bay on the East End-great conch fritters- beach and snorkeling. If you like sailing call Robin and Rich Gallup on “Long Distance”-you can snorkel off the boat and they are really nice people. Also be sure to have desert at Shipwreck Landing-dinner’s great too! Brunch at Miss Lucy’s is delicious. Back to the ice and snow today.
Susan and Jim , 02/2009
We’ve had a most interesting and relaxing stay in this lovely home. Everyday, a couple nice snorkeling trips to various beaches. Favorites were Brown Bay and Haulover and Lameshur. We enjoyed the well equipped kitchen, and cooked at home a lot. We came in hurricane season and only had one bad day of rain (sideways rain). Every time we come to St John, we forget how much we’ve missed it here.
The ferry leaves in a couple hours and we must be on it. Sad but true.
Million thank yous,
Bart and Carol , 09/2008
We can’t thank you enough for giving us the chance to come down here. The villa is absolutely stunning, as it its location. It’s like waking up everyday inside a postcard. We’ve done our best to hit up every beach, bar and restaurant that was open and we can honestly say there wasn’t a bad one in the bunch!
This has been a fantastic place to stay and I hope it’s not the last time we make it out here.
Thanks again!
Josh and Jodi , 09/2008
Thanks for sharing your lovely villa. My mom, 3 kids and I stayed here to attend my sister’s wedding. She recently moved to St Thomas but this was our first trip to the USVI. We LOVE St. John and we’ll definitely be back. Driving on the “other” side of the road is going to be a challenge when I get back to the States!
Thanks again,
Karen and Bill , 07/2008
What an amazing vacation-7 beaches in 6 days! Loved swimming with turtles at Salt Pond and Waterlemon. Trunk Bay is gorgeous. Snorkeling opens up a new world!
As well as this very beautiful house to come “home” to. It really felt like our home for this week-everything we needed was here and everything is lovely.
Thank you! Best Wishes,
PS A big thanks to Karen for meeting us at the ferry dock and so kindly and patiently showing us around!
Margaret, Richard, Anna and Julie , 06/2008
Thank you for all the thought you put into building and stocking the Villa M. for your guests. It would be impossible to name all the ways your thoroughness has impressed me and my family. Just know that all the attention to detail has made us feel comfortable and cared for. We couldn’t imagine a more homey atmosphere. Especially appreciated: the excellent collection of books, weather stations and abundant lighting!
Thank you!
Freehold, NJ , 03/2008
Thanks for opening your house to us, this place is soooooooooooo beautiful. I am glad I got to come. I had a great time with my family and my mother. I hope that I can come back again one day. This is a great place to get away and relax. This trip was for my 16th birthday and trust me, it is one that I will never forget. Oh-and the rain water makes your hair feel so soft!
Thanks again,
Lauren and Debra , 06/2007
This was my third visit to St. John, some of my family’s first. We’ve had the most wonderful time, in spite of a delayed flight in San Juan, Puerto Rico. You have the most beautiful home with a “million dollar view”! Shortly after we arrived, my husband’s glasses fell apart- and you had a bit to repair it! A day later, he got a splinter in his finger-you had a sewing kit with needles to remove the splinter! Everything we needed was here! This trip was made especially for our niece/god daughter to celebrate her upcoming 16th birthday. Her name is Lauren. She and her mother (my sister) had a wonderful time and loved the beaches-especially Trunk Bay. My brother and his girlfriend also had a great time! We had dinner at Aqua Bistro one night; the food was excellent. Our last night here, we ate at Skinny Legs and loved the hamburgers. The charm of these places is so neat. We hope to come back in a few years. Our niece is already planning to return. You folks are very nice to let us stay in your home. The ambience here is so refreshing. Thanks for all the beautiful memories.
Raymond and Shirley , 06/2007
Our third stay at Villa Margherita has been relaxing-a study in pleasurable routines; Beach 10am, return for lunch and naps, afternoon movie and dinner at one of the local restaurants. We are loyal to Miss Lucy’s, but discovered a new favorite-Sweet Plantains. Great curries, jerk and other local fare-terrific waitstaff and ambience.
Thanks again!

Our first experience to the island was enhanced because of your beautiful home. We came to the island for the wedding of our two friends and decided to make a week long vacation out of it and we are SO GLAD that we stayed at this wonderful villa. Honeymoon Beach was worth the hike. Spend the majority of the day there under the clear blue skies. This island is truly paradise and I can see why many vacationers become locals. We have to leave today and I do not want to go.
Anyway, thank you so much for sharing your home with us. We could not stop talking about how great it was and how secluded we felt, which is what we were looking for. We will probably be back someday and hope to stay here again. So until next time….
Maria and Doug , 06/2006
My first visit to this beautiful island was in 1972-I was 12. I grew up in Miami and somehow my father discovered St. John for our family vacations. My father passed away suddenly, just a couple of years after our last family trip so I did not return again for many years. I have such wonderful childhood memories of our vacations here and when I spoke to my mom the other day she said she thinks they might have ended up here to live. So, I finally got back here in May 2002 with my husband and we celebrated our anniversary-as we are this trip. Your home is SO gorgeous and has every gadget you need. Thank you for sharing it with us and all your other guests. The snorkeling was great again- Waterlemon Cay is probably our favorite. Solomon Bay was great also-nice shady beach. We have eaten enough food to last us a month, so back to the hustle and bustle. We’ll be back and we definitely want to stay in your beautiful home again!
Jerry and Maureen , 05/2006
Back again to St. John for another relaxing visit. The Villa Margherita was a perfect island getaway. The bougainvillea on the trellis was spectacular! While here, we had a delicious crab cake benedict at Miss Lucy’s brunch. We visited Zozo’s twice; it’s always great! One day we took the park service guided hike down the Reef Bay Trail. The 3 mile hike was beautiful and it was great to have the Sadie Sea at the beach at the end of the hike to take us back to Cruz Bay. Deanna, the park ranger for our hike, was so knowledgeable and entertaining-she’s a great guide!
Ending each day with a soak in the spa is so relaxing, as we watch the stars and clouds.
Villa Margherita is the best! We’ll be back!
Chris and Darren , 04/2006
Villa Margherita! It brings to mind a second home furnished and stocked like a first home! This villa seems to have been designed and maintained more like what the owner would desire, rather than a rental house. The care and thoughtfulness of information and directions is heartwarming.
Namaste,
Brad , 06/2005
What a perfect place! It has everything one could ever wish for-the beautiful setting, the prefect landscaping, the attention to detail and the perfectly appointed kitchen were much appreciated. The information on the web did not do it justice. It’s more beautiful than we expected.
We’ve been to many Caribbean islands and enjoyed our stay in most of them-especially Dominica and Barbados-but we both fell in love with St. John, especially the Coral Bay area.
We cooked at home a lot and ate on the patio by candlelight and complimented ourselves on our gourmet meals. We loved our last evening’s meal at The Fish Trap; the only night we went to Cruz Bay. We met the locals and heard good music at Island Blues.
Thanks for letting us stay in your wonderful house.
Nadia and Brad , 06/2005
We’ve had a wonderful time in your wonderful house. We especially liked how carefully and thoughtfully everything has been done. One reason we chose to rent this villa was that we are also considering building a force 10 house and we were convinced!
From the bathroom window we could see the runners on the 8 Tuff Miles race this morning-very impressive.
Our 5 yr old loved the great video collection and the beach toys were great.
Meals at Miss Lucy’s and Island Blues are always our favorites, and Salt Pond Bay and Haulover were saviors as surf pounded the North Shore earlier in the month.
We’ll be back to Coral Bay as soon as we can.
Oh, and the wireless interenet access that we discovered with the portable is amazing-in NH we’ll only have dial up for years to come!
Many thanks again!
Ruth, Robert and Bob , 02/2005
Spent another Xmas here with our daughter and grandson-he was written about in the Dec. issue of Suntimes with Santa George. A special family time together in a well thought out villa. We loved all the kids’ videos, beach time, hot tub and just relaxing. Miss Lucy’s Brunch (Sundays) was wonderful.
Thanks again,
John and Fran , 12/2004
Dear Larry and Marguerite,
I am enjoying my last morning viewing the light changes over the Drake Channel. I can see why you fell in love with St. John! The weather has been ideal-we haven’t used the air conditioning either in the house or the cars. The villa is lovely-quiet, peaceful and it seems every detail is attended to with your usual care and thoughtfulness. We’ve had fun cooking in your well equipped kitchen.
We’ve snorkeled almost every day along with some exploring and had some nice meals out-Sunday Brunch at Miss Lucy’s was fun-live jazz and good food.
Many thanks to you both.
