Knock-Knock, who’s there? It’s the Seagulls! The sound of their distinct call and frenetic laugh set the stage for the start of summer on St. John.

Seagulls migrate to the Caribbean from the north and arrive like clockwork at the end of April annually. The pelicans don’t seem too keen on hosting their vocal cousins, but such is life and everyone forges through.

To local islanders, the arrival of seagulls marks a time of celebration and rebirth. Read more about where these birds come here!

Most of us live our lives with nature in the backdrop. In times of solitude, there is so much to see and appreciate in the world around us. See y’all in Coral Bay!
