Heaven on earth!
We stayed at Teahouse Treehouse one and a half years ago and thought nothing could ever come close. But…Mooncottage is even more magical. The view are unbelievable and the house itself is just perfect and had everything we needed. The view from the bed made waking up each morning even better. As with Teahouse, Mooncottage is clean and meticulously maintained and so unique. Working with Brian to book and Bob once on island was so easy and enjoyable. We will be back!

Mesmerizing Mooncottage!
We returned from Mooncottage a week ago, and I still wake up every day in Austin, Texas looking for that beautiful morning view…Mooncottage is exceptional and exactly what you see in the pictures, actually even better with nature sounds and its mesmerizing view. Very hard to leave, but if we did, it was easy to get groceries down the street, say hello to the donkeys, drive to many beaches, have dinners in Cruz Bay, but also not feel guilty those times we decided to just stay because we knew our stay was magical. Bob and Brian were wonderful, and available whenever I needed them before and during the trip. Amazing ambiance, and truly a romantic paradise perfect for two! Yet, there is a very comfortable daybed in the main house if there are more than two, and that was our favorite place to watch a marathon of Wimbledon! Definitely stay at Mooncottage if you travel to St. John; it is a unique, first-class experience!

Unbelievable 10 days!
Believe it or not, this property is better in person than what is represented in the photos.
My fiancee and I arrived on the 18th of May for what felt like the shortest 10 days of our life. We were married the 21st and spent our wedding moon at this magical cottage. Upon booking the owner Brian was extremely attentive and quick to respond. He offered advice on restaurants, beaches, and general information which was very helpful and saved us a lot research during the stay. We received several calls while we were there simply checking in and inquiring to see if there was anything that we needed.
The morning sun woke us daily and we relaxed with our coffee by the pool enjoying the stunning views. At night the pond and wildlife put us to sleep along with the cool breeze. The kitchen had everything you could imagine and we utilized it and the grill quite often during the evenings.
If you are looking for a fantastic stay where you can simply pack up the ice chest, snorkeling gear, and head out for an adventure on the daily basis, St John and the Mooncottage will not disappoint you. It would also be hard to argue with the fact that Mooncottage has some of the best views on the island. We will be returning in the very near future.
