Mornin’ Glory sits on a hillside overlooking tranquil Coral Bay and out towards East End. Conveniently located a few paces beyond the center of Coral Bay, Mornin’ Glory guests can easily enjoy restaurants and shops nearby while still enjoying the peace and quiet of a private villa. Enjoy sweeping views of the Caribbean waters and cool breeze from the broad front porch. The same incredible view can be enjoyed from every room in the house, including the master shower. The great room is open with the kitchen set up a few steps above and a bedroom alcove tucked in on the same level. The villa can sleep six guests with a king in the master, a queen in the alcove and a queen in the studio below. The upstairs is perfect for a couple and small children. For two couples or families with older children, we suggest renting the entire home which includes the studio below. Guests sleeping in the alcove will have to share the master bath. Mornin’ Glory is comfortable and affordable with all the conveniences of home like a full kitchen, washer and dryer, Wi-Fi, and beach accessories. It will be a pleasure returning from a glorious beach day to relax in the open and inviting space that this home offers. The look and feel of Mornin’ Glory is parallel to the styling of quaint Caribbean décor with bright colours and tropical furnishings. Guests will feel that they are getting a unique and authentic St. John experience

  1. Greetings from the Chapin Family! What an amazing space you have here at Mornin Glory! We love your house so much and will definitely be back soon! So glad St. John has healed from the hurricanes. I used to work at Maho Bay in 1999 (first dish washer, then 2 days later prep breakfast chef then head breakfast chef 2 days later haha) We were married on Hawks Nest beach in 2004. Visited again 8 years ago when kids were 2 and 4. It was so wonderful to share the sea turtles and snorkeling with the kids- but wouza! never seen crowds at salt pond before this trip- but the turtles don’t mind, they aren’t shy! So happy on the whole that the island hasn’t changed much- thank you, FDR! We loved the spaciousness of your setup, the cool breezes in the afternoons on the incredible porch and the cozy set up of it all! Blessings and gratitude to you for sharing your space.

  2. Thank you for sharing your beautiful house with us. The view, ocean breezes & sunrises are all spectacular. We snorkeled everyday & especially appreciated the insider scoop Dennis Beach. We loved the salt pond & Ram head hike and the reef ridge and petroglyphs hike. The beauty of the island is marvelous. We played family games on the porch & soaked in the restorative time of such a wonderful vacation.

  3. We loved staying here and enjoyed waking up to the gorgeous sunrise and returning back after a long day of hiking and beaches to the glorious outdoor shower and relaxing on the porch (usually with some rum 🙂 ) Our favorite hikes were Johnny horn reef bay, rams head and others! We had an awesome boat tour around the island hitting amazing snorkeling along the way with “Fly Away Charter”. We highly recommend for beaches if you want to avoid the crowd hit up ” Cinnamon” during the day and ” Maho” after 3! Both with great snorkeling (sharks, sea turtles, sting ray, coral & more) overall, we loved our time here and are so grateful for sharing this gorgeous home!

  4. We loved our stay here and were super grateful for the relaxation! We are from Boulder, Colorado and loved coming back to St. John to visit family and go to the beach. Though we spent a lot of the time with family. This villa was a great place to comeback to after a crazy day! We enjoyed our trip full of hiking, snorkeling, swimming, and eating. We spent some time at Skinny’s, Shambles, Dave & Jerry’s steakhouse, shopping at jolly dog and mumbo jumbo. We visited cinnamon bay, salt pond, maho, and so many more great places! We are sad we could only stay a week this time, but will definitely be back for more soon! p.s the pain killers are for sure a favorite 🙂
Thanks for a great stay! The Duncan’s
