Mornin’ Glory sits on a hillside overlooking tranquil Coral Bay and out towards East End. Conveniently located a few paces beyond the center of Coral Bay, Mornin’ Glory guests can easily enjoy restaurants and shops nearby while still enjoying the peace and quiet of a private villa. Enjoy sweeping views of the Caribbean waters and cool breeze from the broad front porch. The same incredible view can be enjoyed from every room in the house, including the master shower. The great room is open with the kitchen set up a few steps above and a bedroom alcove tucked in on the same level. The villa can sleep six guests with a king in the master, a queen in the alcove and a queen in the studio below. The upstairs is perfect for a couple and small children. For two couples or families with older children, we suggest renting the entire home which includes the studio below. Guests sleeping in the alcove will have to share the master bath. Mornin’ Glory is comfortable and affordable with all the conveniences of home like a full kitchen, washer and dryer, Wi-Fi, and beach accessories. It will be a pleasure returning from a glorious beach day to relax in the open and inviting space that this home offers. The look and feel of Mornin’ Glory is parallel to the styling of quaint Caribbean décor with bright colours and tropical furnishings. Guests will feel that they are getting a unique and authentic St. John experience

  1. My wife was born and raised on St John. After Hurricane Hugo the family moved to Florida and they have not been back since 1990.
For Christmas my wife planned a return trip for her and her parents.
It took us a little longer to get here, (Thanks for the canceled flight American Airlines)
This was my first time outside the continental US. I was amazed at how beautiful the Island is. The beaches, the people were amazing, The goats are loud! , the chickens are crazy and the donkeys are everywhere. We loved it.
It was funny watching my wife and her parents rediscover their pasts. We even ran into people who remembered them from the “Upper Deck” restaurant. The house was comfortable, but you can not beat the view. Personally loved the challenge of the roads & driveway. We cannot wait to return.
    Thank you!

  2. Say “Cheese” – Our Wisconsin family- Erik, Rebecca and Daniel (18) was lucky enough to visit St John and being able to stay at Mornin’ Glory left nothing but smiles on our face. We spent each morning awakening to the sunrise and each night watching the moon rise and the stars come out at this truly remarkable place.
We spent our days visiting the various beaches – our favorite – Little Lameshur and Francis Bay. First time snorkeling and what a great adventure – found everything and more in the great blue yonder. Seeing sea turtles for the first time in their natural setting will forever be in our “best memories”.
Thank you for sharing this special place, as our son goes off to the marines in Aug, this adventure will be in our hearts for all times. We are not only lucky but we are blessed.

  3. Being able to watch the sunrise w/ a cup of coffee was one of the best treats. When we ate at home we always sat outside. We enjoyed all the time spent at Mornin’ Glory 🙂 Love Coral Bay – not so crowded.
    Best snorkeling: Watermelon Cay
    Best burger: Skinny Legs!!!
Bought fresh local fish at Calabash Market, perfect to grill
Hike Ram Head early in the morning, bring good shoes, hat and lots of water, not a difficult hike but very hot and no shade – great views!
Charter catamaran – KEKOA! we did a full day and I can’t recommend it enough, look at their video in you tube. It was perfect and would go with them again.
We love everyday here. Never turned on tv! Just sit outside and enjoy.

  4. We couldn’t have picked a better place to stay for our first trip to St John! Mornin’ Glory is a beautiful place & we enjoyed spending our mornings an evenings on the porch. The outdoor shower really is one on the best parts of the place!
We enjoyed dinner @ Skinny Legs (2x) Miss Lucy’s, Salty Mongoose, & Rhumb Lines. The drinks & burgers at Skinny Legs are the BEST!
We were able to snorkel at Maho w/ the turtles, Salt Pond with the beautiful coral, Cinnamon & Trunk! Our favorite for snorkeling was Salt Pond & Maho. Trunk and Cinnamon ha the best beaches!
We can’t wait to plan our next trip & bring the kids!
