  1. Thank goodness for the Internet, without which we never would have found Palladio’s View. First time in St. John, and we land in Paradise. Lovely house, magnificent views, etc., (all as has been said before). A very “liveable” place, with a good selection of guidebooks, DVD’s, etc.
Sad to leave – as after any vacation – but somewhat more so from this idyll.

P.S. A day’s sail on “Breath” was wonderful; Shipwreck Landing for seafood likewise.

  2. Thank you for the beautiful accommodations. It’s worth the trip up that crazy road! [Note: Grading, some paving of the road has begun!] We have spent 2 wonderful weeks here relaxing and getting away from it all.
    Tips for other visitors:

    1) Check out local customs regarding “Good Morning” and proper attire (no swimsuits) in town.

    2) Skinnylegs is highly overrated. If you are craving a burger, wait ’til you get home.

    3) Aqua Bistro was our favorite – the flavors were incredible.

    4) The rum is cheaper than water – so enjoy.

    5) The bugs are hungry – take our advice – use the OFF

  3. April 2010 Dear David and Barbara, We’ve thoroughly enjoyed our stay here at PV, celebrating our 30 year anniversaries! The villa is perfect for two couples. We loved the amazing views, the hot tub and pool, and eating and dancing on the terrace! Of course, the drive up and down was always a riot – prompting us girls to sing a new twist on a song – “Pave a road, save a cowgirl!” Thanks for sharing your wonderful home with us. THIS TRULY IS PARADISE!!!!

The villa Palladio's View sits elegantly on a hillside in Calabash Boom at the Coral Bay end of St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands, offering spectacular views across Coral Reef National Monument and St. John's East End to the British Virgins (Tortola, Peter and Norman Islands, and Virgin Gorda) and beyond.

Palladio's View ( St. John USVI ), which is only a short distance from the glorious beaches of the Virgin Islands National Park, is fully equipped with all of the amenities required for comfortable living: gas range, microwave, dishwasher, washer and dryer, cable TV, DVD, propane grill and more.

The villa is Danish West Indian in concept, yet evokes the style of Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio. Comfortably able to accommodate up to six persons, Palladio's View is at once private and open to nature's wonders.

The blue roofs, arched windows, and colorful shutters of Palladio's View are an aesthetic delight.

The lower bedrooms, kitchen, and dining area are connected by a tiled screened gallery, which is furnished with comfortable wicker couches.

A few steps lead down to a large spa and then to the pool, from which one can idly observe the passage of wind-filled sails and star-filled skies.

Steps lead from the gallery and covered decks to an open sun deck, which is furnished with chaises, chairs and table for outdoor dining.

Sit back and relax in sun or shade on the deck of Palladio's View.

On yet a lower level you will find the spa deck where one or several can relax in the spacious 7'10" hexagon spa and view the matchless Caribbean night skies.

Enjoy top notch cooking with this fully equipped kitchenand open bar allows you to serve your family and guests with ease.

Two master bedrooms have king size beds, open via sliding doors onto covered decks, and have connecting baths with private outdoor showers.

Wake up each morning to amazing sunrises and crystal clear blue water.

The third bedroom, located on the top-most level, provides even more distant views.

Be sure to come and visit St. John USVI. It will be a vacation you will always remember.

Convenient and spacious floor plan

Palladio's View is a non-smoking villa.
