  1. We stayed at the beautiful Pallidio’s View in February, 5 months after two hurricanes devastated the island. Yes, the island is still rebuilding and yes there are some things you have to do without but at the end of the day, St. John and it’s people are resilient. Five months post hurricane and we still had access to a slew of restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, shopping – Everything you need on the island is there for you. What was the hardest part? No internet and limited cell reception. What was the best part? No internet and limited cell reception (internet is slowly being restored across the island so I imagine it’s restored at the house or will be soon!). We took this time to completely disconnect and enjoy the beautiful beaches, snorkeling, restaurants, and views of PV. I wouldn’t change our decision to visit St. John for the world. Thank you for letting us enjoy this amazing property – we can’t wait to return!

  2. It is absolutely perfect! The pictures do not do it justice. The view is impeccable and better than any home we have rented on St. John (and we have rented many over the years). The house was very well stocked with everything you need, clean, comfortable and perfect for adults and kids/teens. Two huge master bedrooms both with bathrooms and outdoor showers (a favorite with my family) The upstairs loft is spacious and has plenty of room. It is like staying in a tower (according to our kids) A wonderful pool and hot tube and did I mention the view? Every part of the house has a spectacular view. A safe is provided for your valuables at no charge, another great feature! All the beach chairs and towels you need. The road up the house is bumpy and needs a four wheel drive, but if your are familiar with the roads in St. John, the road up is not bad. The staff at Windspree just adds to the perfect choice we made this visit. Windspree always comes through for us and has always gone above and beyond for us during our vacations! Love you guys! (Used your portable cooler gift everyday). We have already decided to rent this home again, God willing if it is still available next year. We are the type of family that likes to rent different homes each year, but we have found the PERFECT HOUSE. You will not be disappointed if you stay in Palladio’s View! Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home!

  3. The villa was fantastic. We were a little apprehensive about ‘No A/C’, but didn’t need it at all. Fans and steady tradewinds, combined with screen windows and louvers made it more than comfortable. The views were spectacular high above Coral Bay with views of Tortola, Norman island, and other BVIs beyond. We enjoyed several nearby beaches as well as along the North Shore. Appreciated the many beach chairs, towels, ice maker, and coolers for our excursions. Beautiful views of the stars at night, serenaded by the tree frogs and insects. Some mosquitos – but nothing that the steady winds and occasional bug spray couldn’t tame. Books and videos available were plentiful if desired.

This was our second trip with Winspree (stayed in Amirilla Villa before) and would highly recommend Palladio’s view and Amirilla Villa for great views, relaxation, and family time – easy to stay holed up in the villa and equally easy as jumping off point for the many excursions on the island. We can’t wait to return and explore more and use Windspree to hook us up with the best, furnished, and delightful accommodations on the island.

Many thanks for a great week!

  4. My first time ever in St John. Absolutely loved the island and the excellent accommodations.

The villa Palladio's View sits elegantly on a hillside in Calabash Boom at the Coral Bay end of St. John, U.S. Virgin Islands, offering spectacular views across Coral Reef National Monument and St. John's East End to the British Virgins (Tortola, Peter and Norman Islands, and Virgin Gorda) and beyond.

Palladio's View ( St. John USVI ), which is only a short distance from the glorious beaches of the Virgin Islands National Park, is fully equipped with all of the amenities required for comfortable living: gas range, microwave, dishwasher, washer and dryer, cable TV, DVD, propane grill and more.

The villa is Danish West Indian in concept, yet evokes the style of Renaissance architect Andrea Palladio. Comfortably able to accommodate up to six persons, Palladio's View is at once private and open to nature's wonders.

The blue roofs, arched windows, and colorful shutters of Palladio's View are an aesthetic delight.

The lower bedrooms, kitchen, and dining area are connected by a tiled screened gallery, which is furnished with comfortable wicker couches.

A few steps lead down to a large spa and then to the pool, from which one can idly observe the passage of wind-filled sails and star-filled skies.

Steps lead from the gallery and covered decks to an open sun deck, which is furnished with chaises, chairs and table for outdoor dining.

Sit back and relax in sun or shade on the deck of Palladio's View.

On yet a lower level you will find the spa deck where one or several can relax in the spacious 7'10" hexagon spa and view the matchless Caribbean night skies.

Enjoy top notch cooking with this fully equipped kitchenand open bar allows you to serve your family and guests with ease.

Two master bedrooms have king size beds, open via sliding doors onto covered decks, and have connecting baths with private outdoor showers.

Wake up each morning to amazing sunrises and crystal clear blue water.

The third bedroom, located on the top-most level, provides even more distant views.

Be sure to come and visit St. John USVI. It will be a vacation you will always remember.
