  1. We came to St.John to enjoy the Caribbean atmosphere: the great snorkeling, incredible sea life and beautiful vegetation. Sailview is a great house with lots of amenities. We loved the atmosphere and will be back. We appreciated the overall space, but especially the Kitchen (Which for Italians is a MUST!) We enjoyed Nature, Sea Life, Snorkeling Waterlemon Cay, Salt Pond, Jumbie Bay, Hawksnest, and swimming with the turtles at Maho. Happy Hour at Skinny Legs,Chilling out at Gibney beach, Denis Beach and Jumbie Bay and Cooking pasta with peppers and shrimp at Sailview!

  2. We loved the house design. The downstairs was perfect for our teenagers. Everyone liked gathering upstairs for breakfast in the am. before heading out for a day in paradise.

We enjoyed sailing to the BVI’s with Capt. Phil on “Wayward Sailor”.

Snuba diving with Frank who is the BEST!

The food festival with booths of local treats, Hiking the reef bay trail, Petroglyphs and driving was it’s own level of entertainment.

We will remember the outstanding reef off Lovango Cay during our sail, Our little frog thaqt hung out on the kitchen sponge one night, going to the wrong jeep in starfish market and the guy not saying anything until we started loading in groceries!! Hilarious.

We appreciated the beautiful landscaping at Sailview, the view of Coral Bay, the critters and a fully stocked villa

    Tips and Advice:

Visit Trunk Bay once, It is beautiful: then hit the other snorkel areas. Hike the Reef Bay Trail, Skip Skinny Legs and go to Miss Lucy’s!

  3. It was a pleasure renting Sail View Villa during our 10 day visit to Coral Bay in St. John. We have rented many different villa’s during our St John holiday’s and Sail View was enjoyable with distinct views overlooking Coral Bay. Sail View is well equipped including a memorable chef’s kitchen with a vast stainless steel counter. The outside porches were perfect to watch the sun rising and setting, very beautiful. Unique design features of the floor plan particularly the marble floors and open shower off the master bedroom reflect the architectural heritage of this Villa. Rent a four wheel drive jeep and enjoy the pleasures of your holiday.

  4. Kay, thanks very much for the excellent communication and all the help with our recent St. John rental with you at Sail View earlier this month.

Your greeter, Richard, did a very nice job. I was glad to have a vehicle of any kind arriving after 5 pm, although I couldn’t figure out what the “right way” of doing that for everyone else would be, since getting to Cruz Bay before 5 PM from the mainland is not the easiest of challenges. I especially liked that Richard took it easy on the drive back to Coral Bay. It took me a few days before the 20 mph speed limit seemed like a limitation! I thought he gave us a very reasonable but brief orientation when we got to the house. (We later decided that the drive down from the house would have made a great bobsled run, and that by week’s end, I might have been in med=
    al contention.)

The six pack cooler was a nice gift — nice touch. Very handy and we’ll have nice memories of St. John going forward!

We travel at least 4-5 times a year, and the week we spent at Sail View on St. John was incredibly relaxing and it was one of the best weeks we’ve spent away from home in the last few years.

Of course the bonus is that we picked the perfect winter to escape Chicago and spend time with you. But the house was a major part of our relaxation, and your services — readiness before we arrived, and the greeter service when we got there — was spot on.
