Crazy!!!
As we were sitting on our couch in the cold and freezing Stockholm in Sweden, and planning our honeymoon we stumbled across this magnificent property. Even though the price was above our requirements we still decided to book it and it was all worth it!
Pros:
-The view from the room, balcony and Jacuzzi is crazy! Waking up to that view makes you wanna cry đ
-Extremely relaxing
-Nice and Clean house / spa
-Hummingbirds and cool lizards all around you
-Private parking
-You get to drive a 4WD :P!
-You sleep to the sound of tree frogs and other nocturnal insects (If you like the nature). I must say that my wife HATES insects but she loved this place!
Cons:
-I didn’t experience any cons but i can imagine that the sound of the insects could disturb your sleep if you re a light sleeper (especially if it rained during the day), but just put in some earplugs and you ll be fine.

A secluded getaway with the best view on St. John!
The Teahouse Treehouse was exactly what my wife and I were looking for in a quiet, romantic island getaway. We spent one week in this paradise, and we’re already wishing we were back there! One of our daily highlights was enjoying our morning coffee out on the porch, with one of the best views on the island (looking out on Hurricane Hole and the east end, with Tortola in the distance). Between the stunning views and the sounds of birds, frogs, and other wildlife, the house gives you the feeling of being one with nature, while still enjoying some creature comforts. After each day of snorkeling/kayaking/beach-going, etc., we unwound in the hot tub on the lower level. The house itself is beautifully designed and outfitted, and the property manager was extremely helpful in preparing for our visit. The rough 1/2 mile drive up Calabash Boom Rd. can be intimidating at first (be sure to rent a 4WD vehicle!), but we soon got used to it.
This was our second time on St. John and our first staying on the Coral Bay side (much more peaceful than Cruz Bay). If (when) we come back, we’ll definitely stay here again. Salt Pond Bay (great beach w/snorkeling) is nearby, and the Coral Bay restaurants and markets are pretty close, too. We particularly enjoyed kayaking and snorkeling in the mangroves of Hurricane Hole (rent from Reef2Peak, based in Hansen Bay) – an otherworldly experience.
I could go on and on, but you get the idea. We absolutely love St. John, and the Teahouse Treehouse is the ideal place for a couple looking for a quiet getaway. We can’t say enough positive things about our experience!

Amazing and relaxing honeymoon destination
This place is stunning – even better than the pictures. We can still feel the night breezes, hear the noises of the forest, and see the amazing water view that greeted us when we looked out from our bed each morning. The deck is a wonderful place to have a breakfast with a gorgeous view, and the kitchen is very well equipped, with all of the appliances and utensils you might need. The gas grill made for some delicious, simple dinners as well.
The hot tub is wonderful and perfect for romantic soaks for two under the countless stars. The hammock is also a great place to relax. We settled into a slower rhythm of life during our week in the treehouse, one where we woke with the sun, took in the beauty around us, explored wonderful St. John, and relaxed with drinks, the hot tub and sunset before sleeping wonderfully.
Finally, Brian and his team were wonderful hosts and very responsive to all of our questions. Altogether, this is a perfect romantic destination; it surpasses its description.

In the trees with nature
The Teahouse Treehouse was great. Very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful view. Unique construction. It has everything you need including Bob the caretaker/manager. Bob checks in every couple days by text to make your stay is exactly what you wanted it to be. The internet service never failed. Try it you will like it.
