The accommodations are both gracious and spacious for the wedding couple and up to 4 additional family members, all with private baths. The Villa is beyond what is represented in the literature. The view is out of this world. It is akin to being in a painting. The facilities are in all respects great. The drive up and down to the Villa is daunting for the first few times but then you get used to it. If you want the view you have to go up. The staff was excellent and discrete. The kitchen is well equipped and we did a lot of cooking. We had everything we needed. The pool is beautiful. There were plenty of towels and other equipment for the beach. The pool person was responsive but is new and is learning the system. For most of our stay we had cable but for the last several days we lost the signal. I suspect it has something to do with the connection to the house. The wireless service was perfect and we were able to easily keep in contact with the States. I had an excellent connection to my office.
You and your staff were fantastic and the charter you hired for us was what we wanted. The captain, a young man of 19, did a great job and on a windy and somewhat rough day did all that he could to mitigate the chop. I have chartered in the Virgins a number of times and feel qualified to assess his performance. Please communicate my review to his boss.
I had wondered whether we would like this end of the island and found it to be relaxing and enjoyable. There are a number of places to eat and drink, and none of them are overly expensive. There are three markets which will take care of most of your needs other than meats. A couple of visits to Cruz Bay sufficed. The only issue is no gas station on this end of the island and that is a minor one.
We are sorry to be leaving. We appreciate everything you have done for us both before and during our stay.
